Ajax woman stabbed, robbed in home invasion

A violent home invasion in Ajax sent one woman to hospital with serious injuries from stab wounds on Friday night, after she had arranged to meet two men to sell items she had advertised online.

Durham Regional Police are investigating the incident on Mandrake Street, and are looking for two male suspects, who fled on foot with a quantity of cash.

The woman was with her four-year-old child at her home, though the child was not hurt. The woman's injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police were called to the residence on Friday around 6:30 p.m.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his 20s with a slim to medium build, and about five foot seven. The second suspect was described as a white male in his 20s.
