Ever wonder what your fellow Albertan is searching on Google on those cold winter days? Well now you know, thanks to Top Draw, an internet marketing agency that released an infographic spelling out exactly what Albertans search online.

Kijiji won the race for being the top search for Albertans looking to buy or sell something locally. Albertans type in Kijiji more than 1.7 million time per month. This is substantially higher than the next three on the list, Canadian Tire, Walmart and Costco respectively.

It came as no surprise that hockey was the most searched sport, 500,000 searches every month to be exact. 'Oilers' and 'Flames' were of course the most searched teams, but the Canucks came in next.

Other noteworthy finds included Shaw as the most searched telecom provider and Ford as the most popular auto-maker with more than 335,000 monthly searches.

More than 54 per cent of Canadians use Facebook regularly, says Top Draw, but YouTube is the highest search for entertainment.

Home Depot came in first for home furnishing followed closely by Ikea.
