“This is an ideal opportunity for Alberta to showcase Alberta's incredible snowboard conditions," said Shelley Grollmuss, Travel Alberta’s Executive Director, North America, in a release.

“Both brands focus their marketing efforts to that youthfully spirited consumer, so this partnership is a great fit for us,” Graham Stapelberg, Global VP of Marketing at Billabong added.

“Alberta’s conditions are without a doubt paradise for boarders; our team was really excited to be on location for this shoot,” Stapelberg said.

Known for its various winter activities, including snowboarding, dog-sledding, northern lights and hot-springs, Alberta is a hot spot for winter tourism.

The tourism industry accounts for more than $5 billion of the province's economy annually.
