INNISFAIL, Alta. - An Alberta man is accused of killing his own father, former Red Deer City councillor Timothy Guilbault.
The body of the prominent Calgary businessman, who was 58, was found Monday on a rural property near Innisfail, Alta.
RCMP say his 31-year old son, Aaron Guilbault, has been charged with second-degree murder in his death.
Guilbault appeared in Red Deer court Wednesday morning on the charge.
Police have not released the cause of death.
In his company website, guilbaultassociates.ca, Timothy Guilbault is described as, "the founder of Guilbault Associates Ltd., is a senior HR professional with 25 years experience including working as the Canadian Human Resources Manager for three multi-national firms in the Petrochemical and Oil and Gas Servicing Industry."

The description on the site states, "Aaron has successfully competed several searches for technologists in the oil servicing sector, maintains his contacts within the trades community, and lead the development of a Career Planning project for a major Calgary based manufacturer."
