Something is rotten in the city of Toronto.
Or something is just really stinky, anyway.
Residents of Toronto couldn't help but notice a manure-like stench in many corners of the city today. The cause? Still a mystery.
According to local radio station NewsTalk 1010, neither the weather or a sewage issue is to blame.
Some guessed that the annual Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, which brings hundreds of farm animals to Exhibition Place, was to blame. As anyone who's ever been knows, the Fair doesn't exactly smell like roses, but a representative told the Toronto Star that they couldn't pinpoint the culprit of the offensive odour either.
In the mean time, the hashtag #pooTO is trending on Twitter as Torontonians share their displeasure with the city's current funk.
