CALGARY - There has been a delay in sentencing for a former Calgary courthouse security guard on dozens of child sex-related charges.

The lawyer for Daniel Thomas Mackie says pre-sentence reports and risk assessments were done, but some issues have come up.

Crown prosecutor Nadine Nesbitt says she's disappointed about the delay, given the seriousness of the charges.

Mackie pleaded guilty in August to 39 charges ranging from child pornography to luring and impersonation.

Court heard he extorted naked photos of children between 2007 and 2011.

The case is to be back in court on Nov. 22.
