EDMONTON - Southern Albertans are being told to brace for freezing rain and heavy snow.
Environment Canada says a low pressure system will move in from Montana bringing freezing rain to areas south of the Trans Canada Highway.
That rain is expected to turn into snow later in the day as far north as Red Deer, with expected accumulations of up to 20 centimetres.
