PERTH-ANDOVER, N.B. - The home of an 86-year-old woman has been moved to higher ground in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick.

Mona Everett's home was the first to be moved out of an area where flood waters caused extensive damage and forced the evacuation of 185 homes eight months ago.

Mayor Terry Ritchie says Everett's home is one of just two homes that will be moved this year.

The rest will be moved next year.
