Final Lake Louise downhill training cancelled

The third and final training run for the Winterstart Lake Louise World Cup alpine skiing event was cancelled Friday due to poor visibility on the mountain.

The season-opening men's downhill is scheduled for Saturday followed by a super-G on Sunday.

Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway was fastest in training Thursday. Austria's Max Franz was first Wednesday.
