A report to the region says there were almost 1,500 complaints made in 2011-2012 — down by 41 from the previous year.
Of those concerns, six per cent were rated as critical or high impact.
The report, which was presented to the health region board in October but just made public, says rural health and planning had the highest number of concerns at 17 per cent.
It says the increase was largely due to multiple concerns over the eviction of 10 residents from a seniors home in Humboldt.
The report says most of the high-impact complaints were about experiences in emergency and critical care.
