Patrick Brazeau's Song For Victimized Aboriginal Women Posted Online (VIDEO)

WATCH: Senator Brazeau Writes Song, Posts On Web

Sitting in front of a fire clad in a black toque and white T-shirt, Brazeau calls for a national inquiry before performing "Please Come Back To Me" on his acoustic guitar. Brazeau appears to choke back tears as he finishes the performance.

In the description of the video, Brazeau writes that "Obviously, I cannot sing but perhaps a real singer will want to record this song to raise funds for the families of the victims."

Conservative Senator Marjory LeBreton, the government leader in the Senate, has suggested federal money should be invested in "dealing with the problem instead of talking about the problem."

Brazeau, who shot to national prominence for fighting in a boxing match with Justin Trudeau, has been embroiled in controversy of late.

A senate committee is investigating whether he has been violating spending rules by collecting a $21,000 per year housing allowance based on a claim he resides in a home witnesses say he rarely stays at.

The mother of one of the senator's children told the Ottawa Citizen in September that Brazeau is behind on paying child support.

In June, Brazeau temporarily quit Twitter after calling Canadian Press reporter Jennifer Ditchburn a "bitch" after she reported he has the worst attendance record in the upper chamber. He later apologized.
