Marc Garneau would like to remind you he's an astronaut.

The Liberal leadership candidate sparked mockery on Twitter when he peppered the speech announcing his campaign last week with references to his time in space. Now "This Hour Has 22 Minutes is getting in on the action. You can see the clip in the video above.

To be fair, Garneau has a sense of humour when it comes to the space jokes. In a blog post for HuffPost Canada, Canada's first man in space even shared some of his favourite cracks.
