Montreal police are awaiting autopsy results on the body of a man believed to be a member of the Mafia, found in a parked SUV in Ahuntsic on Saturday.

Police will not confirm the man's identity, though other media are reporting the dead man is Emilio Cordeleone, a man with Mafia ties, who had reportedly been missing since last Thursday.

The body of the 50-year-old man was found around 9:30 a.m. in a vehicle parked on Sauriol Street.

According to authorities, the victim had serious wounds to the upper body but police would not say if the man had been shot.
