RICHMOND, B.C. - The RCMP say a shooting in the parkade of an IKEA store in Richmond, B.C., on Tuesday was targeted, but not gang-related.

Cpl. Sherrdean Turley says the intended victim, who was not wounded, is known to police.

She says investigators determined it was a targeted attack after interviewing several witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage.

She says given the time and location of the shooting, the total disregard of public safety is appalling.

Police are looking for a suspect who fled the store in a dark green domestic minivan, although Turley says they don't have a description of the shooter.
