Montreal police raided locations in Montreal's Saint-Léonard borough and in Laval this morning in connection with an investigation into Italian organized crime and arson.
Authorities say they discovered more than $10,000 worth of narcotics during the searches and seized firearms.
Const. Danny Richer said the raids, which started at around 11 a.m., were connected to at least one recent criminal fire.
Officers with the Montreal police organized crime and narcotics units are involved in the investigation, which was launched several weeks ago, Richer said.
Two of the men arrested are in their 30s, the third is in his 60s.
