Canadian TV shows certainly made their mark in 2012, for better or for worse. Homegrown favourites like "Continuum," "Lost Girl," "Bomb Girls" and "Republic Of Doyle" continued to delight legions of fans. Plus, Canada finally got its own versions of international hits like "The Bachelor" and "Real Housewives," with adaptations of "The Amazing Race" and "Big Brother" on deck for 2013.

Meanwhile, the much-touted drama "The LA Complex" was picked up south of the border by The CW, only to be unceremoniously dumped shortly afterwards. And cult hit "Todd & the Book of Pure Evil" was axed in April, with rumours of its impending resurrection emerging shortly after the surprising announcement.

It's been a bit of a roller-coaster, but here are the best, worst and most emotional moments in Canadian television this past year.
