Former Liberal cabinet minister Martin Cauchon appears poised to enter the Liberal leadership race, iPolitics has learned.
Cauchon, who has been weighing a leadership bid, insists he has not yet decided to run and will take the next two weeks over the Christmas holidays to rest and to make a final decision.
However, sources tell iPolitics that a campaign team is in place across the country and they are collecting names. A campaign website is ready to go. A speech is in the works for January.
