Edmontonians have many more options for eating out around Christmas this year, with more restaurants opting to stay open on Christmas eve or Christmas.

Whether you're looking for a break from the traditional home cooked meal or just want to break the trend, Edmonton has a few options to pick from.

The trend is also growing in Calgary, where the Fairmont Palliser's Christmas dinner is fully sold out this year and they say it is not surprising.

From pizza and steak to a traditional turkey dinner, Edmontonians looking to eat out on Christmas have a variety to choose from.
