Langley Murder Investigation Leads To Man's Arrest

The RCMP have arrested a male in connection with the killing of another man in Langley.

The Langley RCMP received word about a possible body in the 19800-block of 69 Avenue in Langley at about 7:30 a.m., said a Monday news release from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT).

The RCMP arrived alongside firefighters and found a male dead at the scene.

A 24-year-old Langley resident was arrested just after 9:30 a.m. Police quickly identified the vehicle he was travelling in. He has not been identified because he has not been formally charged.

The suspect is believed to be known to police.
