CALGARY - The family of a missing Calgary woman has made an emotional plea for help.
Sandra Mykytiuk-Evans hasn't been seen since Saturday evening.
After her family mentioned she may have gone for a walk in Edworthy Park, police started combing the area for clues.
Thirty volunteers have searched but turned up nothing and police have called off the search until they get more information.
The family is also asking businesses around the community to hang missing person posters.
Police say Mykytiuk-Evans suffered from depression and some other medical issues, making the search for her even more urgent.
Her family says there was never any sign anything was wrong.
"She has so many people in this city who love her and care about her and are looking for her,'' Ashley Vanwinkle said about her mother.
"We just need anyone who has possibly seen her to please call police and try and help us.''
