Just today, I read a negative review of a hotel I'm thinking of booking from an individual who was mad because his items got stolen at the attached waterpark. He had left them on a table, unsecured, when lockers were provided and many signs state "we are not responsible for lost or stolen goods.." He blamed the hotel for his things getting stolen, not his total lack of common sense. I also tend to look at the businesses' response to bad reviews. Sometimes they'll say "yeah, we' remember you, and we recommend you stay elsewhere." Or "funny you made several complaints over the weekend, but never mentioned a maxi pad on your bathroom floor." Or, pointed out that the complainer already had their stay refunded due to an error on their part. The internet gives everyone, even the grossly overentitled and lacking in common sense, a voice.
