Thomas Innerebner was found guilty in December 2009 of sexual interference and sexual assault against some of his female martial arts students.
He said the touching was either accidental or misunderstood.
His lawyer appealed the conviction by suggesting the trial judge may have led the jury to pool evidence from multiple complainants.
But the Appeal Court sided with the judge, so Innerebner will continue to serve a seven-year prison sentence.
