Sunday night, the biggest stars in Hollywood took to the red carpet in honour of the 70th annual Golden Globe awards.

From the sartorially savvy hosts — Tina Fey and Amy Poehler — to television stars like Claire Danes, there were many flawless looks of the evening.

While we can't pick one famous face who stood out as best dressed among the rest, we have compiled a list of the A-listers who stunned us sartorially on the red carpet.

Who do you think looked most fashionable at the 2013 Golden Globes?

  • Claire Danes in Versace

Holy post-baby body! Claire Danes aced the Globes red carpet in a stunning red ensemble. Everything about this look is perfection -- the hair, makeup and accessories.

  • Julianne Moore in Tom Ford

One of our all-time favourite actresses rocked the Golden Globes red carpet in this bias cut, black and white number. Her hair, makeup and the fit of this dress were incredible. Sheer perfection.

  • Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad

Sexy and shocking, this hard-to-pull-off look would have looked ridiculous on just about anyone -- except Jennifer Lopez. Her look did not disappoint.

  • Katharine McPhee in Theyskens' Theory

This former 'American Idol' contestant brought her A-game to the red carpet. The steep neckline, the leg slits -- it's a look that floored us and just about every man across North America.

  • Helen Mirren

Ladies, this is how you wear a dress with strategically placed embellishments. Every other woman on the red carpet at the Globes should take note.

  • Anne Hathaway in Chanel

Possibly the best light hue on the red carpet (what is with everyone else wearing blushing pink and nude? You're women, not children). Sometimes, as Anne proves, simple is stunning.

  • Amy Poehler in Stella McCartney

Will Arnett, eat your heart out. This is the sexiest we've ever seen Amy Poehler look.

  • Marion Cotillard in Dior

The colour is stunning, the accessories simple and the belt buckle perfectly placed. Marion is wearing this dress as opposed to the dress wearing her. Perfection.

  • Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Vera Wang

Full skirts were a definite trend on the Globes' red carpet, and JLD definitely rocked it. While others went overboard with flashy skirts paired with ridiculous patterns or bright colours, she picked a subtle hue that matched her hair and eyes perfectly.

  • Tina Fey in L'Wren Scott

Classic Hollywood glamour, thy new muse is funny gal and Golden Globes host Tina Fey.

  • Naomi Watts in Zac Posen

Naomi Watts struck the perfect balance between classic ensemble (the cut) and trend (she's wearing the hottest colour of fall 2012) on the Globes red carpet. She's one of the only ladies who wore something that fit her body well.

  • Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta

Zooey knows what dress cut suits her body -- which is why this ensemble looks so fantastic. And the colour -- a rich red -- calls attention to her beautiful brown hair and eyes.

  • Michelle Dockery in Alexander Vauthier

A lot of people attempted the "regal" and "embellished" trend on the Globes carpet, but Michelle is one of the only ones who aced the look. The gold brocade shoulders perfectly highlight her décolletage and lithe waist. She paired the detail-rich dress with simple hair and barely there accessories -- a wise and sartorially smart choice.

  • Pamella Roland

Fishtail dresses were a big trend on the red carpet -- and everyone, outside of Pamella, appeared to be confused about how to wear them. This green hue looked fantastic with Roland's complexion and because she wore simple earrings -- and the dress's detailing was minimal -- she wore it instead of the dress wearing her.

  • Carly Steel

Simple, classic and perfectly suited for her figure, Carly Steel looked stunning in this gold and white ensemble.
