Downtown Vancouver Shooting Sends Man To Hospital

An early morning shooting in downtown Vancouver has left one in hospital with injuries.

The Vancouver police reported in a Saturday news release that the shooting took place before 7 a.m.

Police responded to a fight downtown and found a man who'd been shot in the 900-block of Granville Street, police say.

Three people are being questioned in connection with what police believe is a targeted shooting.

Officers with the department's Major Crime Section and the Forensic Identification Unit are on scene throughout the day, said a police news release.
