Eastern Health says restrictions at Dr. Walter Templeman Health Care Centre on Bell Island and at the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge in St. John’s are no longer in place.
However, visitor restrictions have been imposed at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence, adding to the growing list of facilities affected by the virus.
The health authority says other services at the centre, including its emergency department, diagnostic imaging and blood collection, will continue as normal.
Only immediate family members are allowed to visit patients at about 17 other health-care centres.
Eastern Health says people should not visit any health facility in the region if they feel ill or are experiencing flu-like or gastrointestinal symptoms.
