Mounties in northern B.C. say the deaths of two people in Vanderhoof, B.C., have been ruled homicides.

The bodies of Blaine Albert Barfoot, 29, and Tara Lee Ann Williams, 40, were found in a home on Silvermill Road on Sunday.

Police say the couple were known to police and “lived a high-risk lifestyle.”

“As part of the investigation, the police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying anyone who may have a recent injury to their arms or hands,” said RCMP Const. Lesley Smith.

“We believe the injury may have occurred during this incident and are asking anyone with information to please call the RCMP.”
