CHARLOTTETOWN - The New Democratic Party in P.E.I. says it wants to hear from the public as it develops new policies for the party.

Party leader Mike Redmond released a statement Thursday saying the consultations will be held across the Island, starting at the end of this month.

That meeting, slated for Jan. 30 in Cornwall, will deal with water issues.

Other meetings will deal with health care, education and responsible government, among other topics.

A schedule will be posted on the party’s website.
