A demanding and detailed Edmonton Craigslist ad is casting a hilarious light into the mind of a fanatical Star Trek fan who's presumably willing to trade role play in his mom's garage for fake prescriptions.

The author of the ad, titled 'Make It So' and posted under Personals and Strictly Platonic, uses the post to express his devotion to the television franchise and his requirement for two to three women to join him in Star Trek role play, while making it clear that those who respond to the ad shouldn't expect any funny business.

"No nudity, no touching," it says.

But even more adamant than the no touching rule is the rule the role play will only encompass Star Trek: The Next Generation characters.

"There will be no mixing of eras. I don't want to hear how Captain Kirk is so great," the ad says.

"Kirk isn't half the Captain that Picard is, OK? Kirk is a fat chauvinist ladies man. Picard is an honorable intellectual and an excellent diplomat."

The author of the ad explains that he's built a bridge in his mom's garage and that a script will be mailed out to those interested.

"We won't be filming anything.. it's just a fun way to spend an afternoon. Maybe my mom will make lunch," the ad reads.

"This isn't paid, but I have a doctor's prescription pad (a long story) and I can write you a prescription for basically anything you want."

The ad ends with, "Nothing weird is going to happen."
