Yoga Clothing: Is LIJA Style The New Lululemon?

Is LIJA Style The New Lululemon?
LIJA

Lululemon, there's something we have to tell you. While we've loved you for years (especially your Lulu warehouse sales), we've become a little disenchanted by all of the negative publicity you've been garnering as of late.

There was that lawsuit against Calvin Klein (claiming the company infringed on three of your patents), and then news, at the end of 2012, that your stock price had dipped. It made us feel like we couldn't relate to you anymore.

It was then — amidst all of the confusion — we stumbled upon another activewear company called LIJA. And, frankly, she's stolen our hearts.

Made in Canada, in British Columbia in fact, the company offers fashion-forward females the option to dress stylishly regardless of the workout they're doing (they have golf, tennis, running and yoga gear).

You look good on our body, but so does LIJA. Their collection is ridiculously versatile — not only can their clothes be worn on the track, on the course or in a gym, they can also be donned on a casual night out (just check out their skirts) — and pricing between the two of you is comparable.

Overall, dear Lululemon, LIJA has made us realize you're not the only awesome Canadian activewear company in town — and you're definitely not the only one worthy of our attention.

So this isn't a goodbye, it's a sort-of sweet see you later.
