Injured Alberta snowmobiler dies in Calgary hospital after crash, night in bush

CAROLINE, Alta. - A man who was flown to a Calgary hospital after crashing his snowmobile has died of his injuries.

RCMP say the 33-year-old man was found near Caroline Monday morning after a driver saw tracks leading into the trees.

Police say the man was not wearing a helmet.

His name has not been released.

Officials say the man appeared to have been in the bush since Sunday, and was suffering from exposure as well as injuries from the crash.

Caroline is about 125 kilometres southwest of Edmonton
