Abbotsford police are on the hunt for two "Morkie" puppies and one adult Yorkie that were stolen in a break-in Wednesday night.

The thief only took the three dogs despite other valuables in the home, police said in a Thursday news release.

The dogs had been put up for sale online and the homeowner was only out of the house for a short time before discovering the theft.

Police believe it was a "targeted incident."
