Earlier this week, Stephen Harper's all-of-a-sudden interesting Twitter account posted photos and videos of the prime minister's day.

On Thursday night, The Huffington Post Canada's Althia Raj joined CBC's At Issue panel to discuss what Harper's social media surge is all about. Is the PM trying to compete with Justin Trudeau? Appear more human? Reach out to young people?

The panel also took on the topic of departing Parliamentary Budget Officer Kevin Page and whether the Conservatives will bother to replace the man who has been a persistent thorn in the government's side.
