Without the services of their starting goaltender for the foreseeable future, the Calgary Flames signed netminder Danny Taylor on Wednesday.

Miikka Kiprusoff was injured in the Flames' 4-1 win against Detroit on Tuesday and is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Taylor, 26, signed a one year, two-way contract for $525,000 US. The England-born and Ottawa raised goalie has 59 wins in 120 career AHL games with a lifetime 2.32 goals-against average.
