Little girls around the world rejoice: Barbie’s Dreamhouse is officially for sale.
After spending 41 years in the iconic toy house in Malibu, Barbie is packing up her pink suitcase and is looking for new digs.
The three-storey, 8,500-square-foot Malibu mansion is infused with Barbie’s favourite colour from floor-to-ceiling, and features diamond-encrusted accents, crystal chandeliers and (of course!) a working pink elevator.
While the listing isn’t exactly livable – it only has three walls! – the beachfront property boasts Malibu’s only truly unobstructed views of the ocean, as well 150 feet of private sandy beach.
Barbie's pink palace doesn't come cheap – the model house (which was being used as a tourist attraction) is listed at $25 million. But for the Barbie enthusiast, owning a piece of the iconic doll's history could be a Dreamhouse come true.
What's next for blond bombshell? She’ll be embarking on a world-wide tour in search of her next home, even making a scouting stop in Canada for Toronto Fashion Week from March 18 to 22.
