Jeffery Adam Amos was charged in provincial court on Friday with two counts of making child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography and two counts of voyeurism.
More charges are possible, police say.
The RCMP’s Integrated Child Exploitation Unit arrested Amos in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred at a residential daycare on Frampton Lane, in the city's north end.
The offences allegedly started in February 2012 and the investigation started in October 2012, following a complaint, said Codiac Regional RCMP Const. Damien Thériault.
"At that time computer equipment was seized and has been analyzed since then," he said.
"We are still conducting further analysis of data storage devices and there might be further charges coming later."
Two victims have been identified so far in the investigation, said Thériault.
The RCMP are now contacting the families of children who attended the daycare during the period in question.
Police seized computers and data storage equipment.
Amos remains in custody and will return to court on Feb. 11.
