British Columbia is home to some of the most rugged terrain in Canada, and yet also perfect romantic destinations for Valentine's Day.
Just last week, Amazon.ca named Victoria as Canada's most romantic city. Also on the list were Vancouver, Kelowna and Kamloops. All of them came ahead of more traditionally romantic cities like Montreal and Quebec CIty (neither made the Top 20).
So while the methodology behind the rankings seems a little suspect, clearly love is in the air around the province.
We've already shown you Vancouver's best restaurants for Valentine's Day, as well as best places to be spend Valentine's Day alone in Vancouver. But we've yet to share our list of most romantic spots around B.C.

Wickaninnish Inn, Tofino
Stay at one of Tofino's best hotels and and watch storms roll in off the Pacific. When it's sunny, work off a hearty seafood dinner with a stroll along Chesterman Beach.
Joffre Lakes Provincial Park
It takes effort to get to Joffre Lakes, but if you're willing to make the trip, it's more than worth it to catch a glimpse of the natural wonders in B.C.'s backcountry. The hike to Upper Joffre Lake is about five kilometres, with elevation of 400 metres. But once you make it, you get the serene experience of seeing an isolated lake with mountains surrounding you on all sides. Great for outdoorsy couples.

Location, location, location. And what a location! This restaurant in Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Park gives you a gorgeous view of the city in an atrium-like setting.
Grouse Mountain Tram
The best place to see Vancouver is from any of the North Shore mountains. But none of them have the kind of ride that you get at Grouse Mountain. If you time it correctly, you can watch the sun set over the city, blanketing it in golden light. How lovely.
