121 charges laid in break-and-enter ring

Toronto police have arrested three people in a break-and-enter ring in the city's north end as a total of 121 charges were laid.

A 20-year-old woman from Brampton and two men, 22 and 24, from Toronto were arrested in connection with a series of robberies spanning the area between Lawrence Avenue West to the north, Eglinton Avenue West to the south, Caledonia Road to the west and Yonge Street to the east.

Between November and January, the trio allegedly targeted apartment units where they pried doors open and allegedly took jewellery, electronics and cash.

The three suspects face 121 charges between them including:

- 16 counts of break and enter.

- 19 counts of failure to comply with probation.

- 86 counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

Police are urging anyone who may have been a victim or who has any information about the robberies to contact the 13 division major crime unit at 416-808-1306.
