Kate Bock, Sports Illustrated Model From West Vancouver, Leads Rookie Vote (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

A Canadian model is in the running for Rookie of the Year in the latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

West Vancouver's Kate Bock leads four models vying for the title in the 2013 edition of the popular swimsuit magazine.

The 5'11" blonde beauty was discovered at a swimming pool when she was 12 years old, The Province reported.

She graduated from West Vancouver Secondary School and now splits her time between Paris and New York.

The Sports Illustrated photos show Bock posting on Easter Island in a bikini top designed by Beauty and the Beach and a bottom by MIKOH.

She appears in the swimsuit issue alongside famous models such as Kate Upton and Irina Shayk.
