Someone in Calgary might just have become very, very rich.

The winning ticket for the $30-million Lotto Max jackpot was purchased in the city.

Western Canada Lotteries spokeswoman Andrea Marantz said it might be a record win for Calgary.

“Yes I believe it that it is the largest jackpot that's ever been won with a ticket purchased in Calgary,” she said.

It could take days or even weeks before the winner's name is known depending on when the ticket holder comes forward, Marantz said.
