More charges have been laid against a former figure skating coach who was accused of the sexual assault of a former student in the 1980's

A second ex-student has come forward, according to police, and has accused Kevin Michael Hicks, 53, of sexual assault.

The alleged incidents occurred when the male victim is said to have been 12 or 13 years old.

The former coach, and national level figure skater, has been charged with three counts of indecent assault on a male.

This adds to the previous charges of four counts of sexual assault and one count of buggery from the other former student, which reportedly happened between 1983 and 1990.

Police believe there may be more victims.

The former coach apparently taught at a number of Ontario schools such as Woodbine Winter Skating Club, Weston Skating Club, Windsor Skating Club and Burlington Skating Club.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents, or other incidents involving Hicks, is asked to contact police at (416) 808−2305.
