VANCOUVER - A man who has been identified by police as a gang member has been convicted of first-degree murder following a botched robbery in 2004.
Michael Newman is expected to be sentenced in B.C. Supreme Court on Thursday in the death of 38-year-old Marc Rozen.
Rozen was shot and stabbed multiple times during a botched robbery at his apartment in Vancouver's west end.
He had advertised a platinum solitaire ring for sale but the ring was never recovered.
