Police in Prince George, B.C. are on the hunt for three men considered armed and dangerous, two of whom are wanted on outstanding arrest warrants issued Thursday.

Sameer Madhok, 40, of Prince George, and Mark Anthony Stewart, 30 of both Vanderhoof, B.C. and Regina, Sask., are accused of criminal offences involving weapons possession and motor vehicle theft.

RCMP also wants to locate Eric Maurice Cardinal, 27, of Terrace, B.C., who is wanted for theft under $5,000 and two counts of breach of undertaking.

Police believe Cardinal may be with Madhok and Stewart.

Insp. Brad Anderson said the three wanted men are previous offenders with lengthy criminal histories.

"The arrest of these three prolific offenders is a priority for the Prince George detachment," Anderson said in a written statement.

"We will use every resource available to seek them out and bring them to court."

Anderson said police are also on the lookout for a stolen vehicle related to the investigation -- a white 2005 Hyundai XG350 four-door sedan, with the B.C. licence plate number "101 WWK."

Anderson emphasized the men are considered armed and dangerous. He said no one should approach them, and should instead call police immediately.
