OTTAWA - Ontario's new premier says she will continue to work with government and private sector leaders to create more opportunities for young people in the workforce.

Kathleen Wynne made the remarks today during a visit to Ottawa.

She hosted a roundtable discussion on job creation with local business leaders and spoke with young entrepreneurs about youth employment.

Wynne says the upcoming provincial budget will strive for common ground with opposition parties by focusing on growing the economy and creating jobs.

She says her government will stand up for issues and initiatives they believe in, rather than trying to pass a budget at any cost.

Even so, Wynne says the Liberals are fully prepared to go into an election if the budget is rejected by the opposition.
