Anne Hathaway's Nipples Make An Oscars Appearance

What's one way to overshadow the fact you're up for 'Best Supporting Actress' at the 2013 Oscars? Wear a dress that shows off your nipples.

Which is exactly what Anne Hathaway did on Sunday night.

The Academy Award nominee for 'Les Miserables' donned what appeared to be a pink Prada cooking apron that showed side boob, breast tape as well as her nipples. The necklace she wore drew our eye down toward her decolletage even more.

At first we thought we were the only ones acknowledging her fashion faux pas, but it turns out we weren't alone. After she stepped onto the red carpet, a 'nipple' feed inspired by Anne popped up on Twitter (so reports US Magazine) while also making a bid for Twitter stardom with the hashtag #LesNipplerables. E! Online is even claiming her nipples have overshadowed her side boob.

She talked about how she had chosen the dress the day before, she couldn't find anything and it just suited her mood at the time. Wardrobe emergencies happen to the best of us, and the best of us is Anne Hathaway.

I see stitched darts but no nipples. I was led to believe I would see nipples. When there are nipples to be seen I have right (2nd amendment I believe) to see those nipples and Huffpo is denying me my rights. This is a form of bullying, saying there's nipples and then there aren't. I'm suing Huffpo.

What a shame that people decide to focus on her 'nipples' (which is actually just poorly executed seams/ darts) instead of the fact that she is an amazing woman. Not only is she absolutely stunning and talented but she is also extremely involved with LGBT rights and other things. And who cares about about nipples? Surprise! We all have them! What a shocker.

I think those are what you calls "darts" sewn into the dress, not her nipples. Poor workmanship on that dress and I can only imagine the price of it.

Ditto, I didn't notice it either until it was plastered all over the internet and I wondered how I missed it since I saw her on the red carpet and picking up the Oscar. How silly of people, especially given the incredible performance that garnered her an Oscar. Terribly skewed priorities of the media?
