Carley Allison has a tumour on her trachea that has resulted from a rare cancer that is said to afflict only one in a billion people. She was diagnosed just weeks ago.
The 17-year-old competitive skater and passionate vocalist has been keeping a blog since she was diagnosed. She has posted videos of herself singing after she underwent a tracheotomy, which was necessary to help her breathe.
Carley has had many messages of support pour in since she fell ill. She is asking those who want to reach out to donate to Toronto's Princess Margaret Hospital.
