B.C. Apple store robbed using bear spray

Five people have been treated for exposure to bear spray after a robbery at the Apple Store in Vancouver's Oakridge Mall Monday night.

The robbery occurred at around 7 p.m., when three men are believed to have entered the store, discharging the spray into the air.

Police say there were about 40 customers in the store at the time and the men allegedly made off with only a small number of electronics before running out of the mall.

Officers and police dogs found some of the stolen items shortly afterwards, but police are still looking for the three suspects.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Vancouver Police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
