Toronto Fashion Week: Pink Tartan's Wigs Have Critics Calling Foul On Twitter (PHOTOS)

Getting Wiggy With It: Critics Blast Toronto Fashion Week Show (PHOTOS)

Toronto's fashion elite gathered in the tents at David Picault Square March 18 to watch label darling Pink Tartan charm their well-tailored pants off during Toronto Fashion Week (also known as World MasterCard Fashion Week).

And while most of the styleratti gave the Fall/Winter 2013 collection glowing reviews, some attendees couldn't get past one minor, but significant detail: The bad blond wigs.

Said one fashionista on Twitter:

"The clothes at Pink Tartan are actually quite lovely, but I can't accept these awful wigs. #WMCFW"

Another critic was a bit more blunt:

"Cheap wigs and lux fashion - #americanhorrorstory inspired collection by @pink_tartan #wmcfw"

But it wasn't all bad. Most style editors, bloggers and Pink Tartan lovers adored the '60s housewife inspired show, including Jeanne Beker and Lisa Tant.
