Canadiens sign Francis Bouillon through 2013-14 season

The Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday announced that Francis Bouillon has been given a one-year contract extension.

Bouillon has one goals and six assists in 28 games so far this season, with a plus-6 rating.

The 37-year-old rejoined the Habs as a free agent last summer. He also played for the Canadiens between 1999 and 2009.

For his career, Bouillon has scored 30 goals and added 11 assists in 704 regular season games with Montreal and Nashville, with 489 penalty minutes.

Financial terms weren't disclosed by the club.
