Teri-Lyn Williams Murder: Dustin Lalonde Pleads Guilty

NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. - A 31-year-old Okanagan man has pleaded guilty to murdering a sex trade worker in Surrey, B.C., two years ago.

Dustin Lalonde has admitted to the second-degree murder of 41-year-old Teri-Lyn Williams, whose body was found in a grassy area of central Surrey in June of 2010.

Police have not said how she died.

Lalonde was charged in September 2011.

Second-degree murder comes with an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole for a minimum of 10 years.

A sentencing hearing for Lalonde will be held in B.C. Supreme Court in New Westminster on May 31.
