There's a reason Ralph Klein was often referred to as a man of the people.
He came from humble beginnings, he worked hard for what he achieved and was arguably as much at ease in the legislature as he was at a downtown pub.
His politics drew as much praise as they drew ire but the man was likeable.
He was also never a poser, which is why a look back at Klein's public life would not be complete without a look at it through the photographer's lense.
